Insert Witty Title Here

The weather here in the GTA has resorted back to the mugginess of summer. Rain has been looming for the last two days to no avail. Hopefully it’ll hold off until after we’re back from Elliot’s first field trip tomorrow with the daycare. Especially since we’re going to Chudleigh’s Farm for the day (hay rides, apple picking, pie – mmmm, apple pie). Plus, I’ll be using the shoelace express until the car is back from the shop tomorrow eve (just in time for Car Free Day this weekend – wasn’t planning that one). We’re hoping to do some biking this weekend regardless of what day the Adbusters Calendar instructs it to be.

Saving for Tuition

Today marks my thirteen year anniversary of working as a civil servant. Thirteenth anniversary on Friday the thirteenth? I decided to buy me a lottery ticket in hopes of not having to work for another thirteen years.

Elliot seems to be settling in with the daycare routine. It didn’t take him too long to start saying “bye” to Laurel in the morning as we split for the day. Yesterday was the first time that he wasn’t crying as I left him at the daycare centre. Must have had something to do with seeing some construction vehicles and equipment out the window as I was leaving. ‘Tis the season for it. That helped to not break my heart on the way to work.

Bruce McCulloch Better Not Show

Happy Birthday Terry!

Karaoke at the Gladstone Hotel tonight! Can’t think of a better way to end the week. Has anyone called dibs on “Snowbird” yet?
