Rumour has it that Futurama will be back in 2008. I wonder who’ll be running for president then. Or who the running mate’ll be?
You Tube so rocks.

I’ve been playing more than my fair share of Brain Age and Tetris over the past week of owning the DS Lite. Once in a while, I’ll switch from staring at its screen to basking in the late night blue glow of Garage Band.
A comment I’d made on one of Ben Brown’s photos (he of internet rockstar and Consumating fame) prompted a response that inspired the title of my latest musical noodling:
My pal Dave hipped me onto Derek and Clive (the filthy alter egos of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore) back in ’94, the same night Laurel and I had our first “date”. She brought this up after viewing a photo from one of her Flickr contacts, and, well, I just had to share:
Some of Dudley at his finest.
After much anticipation and hemming and hawing over whether to drop the bigger bucks on an import version from Japan, the Nintendo DS Lite became available in North America earlier this week. Of course, I waited ’til pay day mid-week before scrambling to find a store that still had any left in stock. Thankfully, most were replenishing their stock throughout the day.
After figuring out the basics of Brain Age, I’m now not ashamed to post my current score:

I’ve also overcome the shyness of trying Sudoku and will now probably be spotted on public transit, lunchrooms and coffee shops with my nose buried in the DS.
