Over the past four years or so, I’ve been getting tattoos. All from the same gentleman at the same shop (Eug at Tat-A-Rama). The “pieces” I’ve got have been emblematic, which makes it kinda interesting (read: difficult) when it comes to thinking about how to tastefully put ’em all together for potential half-sleeves. I’ve recently decided that I’ll more than likely not go the half-sleeves route. Instead, tastefully dot my arms and chest with tasteful pieces.
Last night, I got my seventh: a symbol that I’ve been digging for quite some time, which comes from the Marshall McLuhan book The Medium is the Massage, illustrated by Quentin Fiore (extension of the central nervous system; extension of man).
More to come (I’m sure).
