Insomnia is in theatres today. I’ve been looking forward to this flick for the last six months. I’m more excited about it than the whole Spider-Man/Star Wars thing. Memento was amazing. Following was awesome. Christopher Nolan rocks. I’m wetting myself.

NYC, Here I Come
I went and saw Attack of the Clones earlier in the week. It’s better than that other one.
I’m in the process of organizing my itinerary for NYC next weekend to see my soon-to-be-a-dad-pal/buddy/best man Dave and his lovely wife, Val. My bro will also be in town from London the same time. It’s also happens to be both of our birthdays that weekend.

Lottery Fantasies
Happy Birthday, Bill Bruford (just in case he ever stops by here).
The car is back from an overnight stay with the mechanic (see earlier this month) and all is fine…..for now. If I win the $34 million in tonight’s lotto, I may think about a new car.

On the road again
After a lot of phone calls and time taken off work running around to an insurance office, a couple of body shops, a car rental agency and a car audio dealer, my wheels are back on the road. Next will be to get back to the garage where the original mechanical stuff was to be looked at before all this sh*t happened. I finally went with a CD player which will be convenient now that I won’t have to tape stuff to listen to in the car. CBC Radio One is great and all, but sometimes I need to listen to my choice of music when driving.
